Default fish oil opacity?

i was finishing up a carlsons bottle of fish oil that i opened up about 2 months ago and kept in the fridge.

i noticed that the last dozen or so spoons of fish oil were less clear and seemed to have some a slightly whitish mix in it. it tasted about the same but the texture felt slightly different.

is there anything wrong with this? is this normal? what's going on

It's probably just fine. If it smelled excessively fishy or gave you fish burps, then it may have gone rancid, but in your fridge in two months that's unlikely.

If it tasted and settled fine, you should be good to go.

Ive seen this and assumed that its the saturated fats which have sunk and clumped together, given that unsaturated fats dont harden so much in the cold. i could be wrong. Shake bottle and drink!
